Welcome to Mehreen's Kitchen. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and food ordering services. Mehreen's Kitchen is operated by Bigsur Ventures LLC, a California limited liability company.

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.

Orders and Payment

  • All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • Prices listed on our website include the base price of each item. Applicable sales tax and delivery fees are calculated and displayed at checkout.
  • Sales tax is collected in accordance with California state and local tax requirements and remitted to the California Department of Tax and Fee Administration (CDTFA).
  • We accept credit/debit cards and cash on delivery as payment methods.
  • Orders must be placed before the posted weekly deadline to be included in the next delivery window.

Delivery

  • We deliver within our designated service area in the San Jose / Bay Area region.
  • A delivery fee applies to all orders as displayed at checkout.
  • Delivery times are estimates. We make every effort to deliver within the posted schedule, but delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control.
  • You are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Cancellations and Refunds

  • Orders may be cancelled before the weekly order deadline. After the deadline, orders are final as ingredients have already been sourced.
  • If there is an issue with your order (e.g., missing items, quality concerns), please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will work to resolve it.
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method.

Food Safety and Allergens

  • Mehreen's Kitchen operates as a permitted home kitchen in compliance with California health and safety regulations.
  • Our food may contain common allergens including but not limited to nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, and soy. Please inform us of any allergies when placing your order.
  • While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bigsur Ventures LLC (DBA Mehreen's Kitchen) and its members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or consumption of our food products.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
