Our Story
When we moved to Bay Area, California we noticed the abundance of Pakistani and Indian restaurants but we quickly realized that almost none of them were able to give us the authentic taste, and those who serve good food were either too far away or didn't deliver. We started Mehreen's Kitchen not just as a business but as a passion! We wanted to give everyone a glimpse in our multi-facet rich food culture because we believe it's the Food that brings us all together.
We've spent several years hacking each aspect of every single dish to match the exact same taste you experience on the Food Streets of Karachi! From our signature Karachi Chicken Biryani to Dhaba style Karhayi you will feel every flavor unfolding in your mouth as you bite through. Some of our recipes are generations old and are passed down from one generation to another but some we have crafted ourselves. We believe that everyone should have access to great and affordable food. Some people are in this business for money, some for fame, but we are in this business to make people feel right at home!
